NT Demonstrates Satellite Communication Capabilities, Supporting News Coverage at the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits
In preparation for the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Vientiane, Lao PDR, National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) meticulously organized its services to ensure efficient media coverage for international news agencies. NT deployed its Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) vehicles, equipped with cutting-edge satellite transmission technology, to facilitate real-time reporting on key discussions and events involving ASEAN leaders.
Ahead of the summit, NT ensured its equipment and staff were fully prepared to handle the technical demands of live news broadcasting. This involved rigorous testing of the DSNG vehicles to ensure reliable satellite connectivity, as well as coordination with both domestic and international stakeholders. NT’s team traveled to Laos in advance to set up operations, ensuring seamless integration with local infrastructure and compliance with international broadcast standards.
